Transport of firewood to RBR
from other areas is prohibited. The Missouri Department of
Conservation has expressed concern that firewood from other areas may harbor
hitchhiking insects and diseases that can attack our Ozark forests.
Of particular concern is the Asian Longhorned Beetle. If you do bring
firewood into the campground, you will be required to burn it immediately. RBR has plenty of firewood available for building
campfires. You can buy it from us or pick it up off the ground.
